I applied for home loan in BOI Bangalore branch ,After spending money on bank formality ,payment to bank lawyer ,Cibil score check etc etc and after 100 percent confirmation and bank node I paid advance of 50 percent of flat value to builder and balance to be paid by bank loan .The agreement was made that the property will be registered within one month .Now on day of Registration the bank manager refused to handover DD or even to come for registration unless I sign useless unwanted crap if you read the policy money back insurance ,which had premium of 3 lakhs annually.(Note I already have two insurance LIC and SBI ,NPS etc)
I realised the Bank lawyer was hands in glove with manager and as per agreement they new if I don’t register within time frame I will loose the advance paid to builder .Again they threatened me that Banks often loose or misplace or Damage property papers and the tile of property itself can fall in risk .Helplessly I signed the insurance paid 3 lakhs premium .It was the nose hanging in neck making life hard to pay loan EMI and Unwanted insurance EMI .If the manager had asked for bribe is cash even 1 lakh I would have drawn cash paid and done with it but this is worst that we are forced to Pay it and it gets legal status also .Bribe is White is more dangerous than Cash .
